Vintage Mid-Century Emerald Green Wool Swing Coat with Brown Faux Fur Collar

Vintage Mid-Century Emerald Green Wool Swing Coat with Brown Faux Fur Collar

$95.00

This is a stand-out conversation piece! The color is absolutely amazing! It is warm and beautiful! The interior shows the maker as Marki New York and was a featured product of the high-end department store Stern and Mann Company in Canton, Ohio (I remember this store!). The store only carried the best designers.

There is not a size tag, but the measurements are as follows: Pit-to-pit: 21.5" (43" bust), Shoulder to Shoulder: 15.5", Arm Length: 24" (the faux fur cuff is 6.25"), Waist: 22.5" flat (45" waist), Hips: 23.5" flat (47" Hips), Length from back of neck: 37"

There are three large buttons in the front that measure 1.75" and they are wool-covered. There are two functional pockets just outside of the bottom button. The lining of the coat is intact without any holes or snags, but shows a small amount of fade. It is beautifully embroidered, possibly with the designer's symbol. The coat also has a tag from the National Coat & Suit Industry National Recovery Board.

Call outs: She has not been laundered, but is free of any odors. Light fade on the interior lining. There is no care tag, but it would be best to dry clean this garment.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions prior to purchase! I'll be more than happy to answer them, as I wish for this coat to find its rightful owner! She is amazing!
